So, you might have noticed a skip from day 6 to day 8. Well, on the seventh day god rested, so shall we. No, we did stuff, but it was pretty relaxed and we didn’t have much to share photo wise. Day 8, back to work! We had a big day that is for sure, lots of eating!
First, we met our friend Denise in Central for brunch, but can’t remember the name of the place now. It was amazing. I got the eggs Benedict, my go to breakfast. The most perfectly poached eggs I have ever had. Potatoes, I didn’t even need Ketchup. Kayiu had what ended up to be a HUGE breakfast pizza! Which I ended up helping with by eating half. We all shared a pitcher of sangria.
After, we walked through this weird street where they sold a bunch of costumes, and halloween suff, on our way to the Grocery store to buy stuff for our Boat trip the following day. We didn’t buy the Oreo’s although I m not so sure why not!
Then, what seemed like the passing of barely 10 minutes, stomach time, we went to High Tea. I wasn’t sure what to expect, pinkies out? Despite the incredibly feminine flowery tea cups, it was pretty nice. The food was DELICIOUS! The best scones we had ever tasted. Some tasty little sandwiches and finger foods. Suffice it to say, we were not saving our appetite for our dinner plans less than 2 hours later.
After our High Tea we meandered around trying to work up our appetites again, then took the Star Ferry across the harbor to TST where we had plans to meet with a couple other friends for dinner. Ho Bow!!
